As cinematographer and editor for The One Minute Company - we produced a short film for a client in which we emphasise the importance of keeping overview and not be narrowsighted because of too much focus. This video was made for a campaign on their camera security branche.
In the months following my acquirement of the Pocket Cinema Camera, I got the assignment to shoot a series of films on the product range of Van Ommen - a company specialized in tools for metal cutting. The embedded video above is just one of those films.
A short comparison between the field of view (FoV) of several lenses without and with 0.72x Focal Reducer on the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera. The compared lenses are the following: Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8, Samyang 14mm T*3.1 and Panagor 135mm f/2.8. The used focal reducer is the one from RJ (from this eBay store: Roxsen). The jib-shots were made using a Kessler crane and Kessler Revolution head with the Oracle Controller.
The Windesheim 2035 video was produced for the Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. The university had created a new vision for their vision on education for the nearby future. This video was used as introduction for the presentation.
Originally I planned a shoot like this to demo/try out the new Adobe Creative Cloud upgrades, especially the upgrade(s) surrounding Premiere Pro and SpeedGrade. But, sadly Adobe didn't make their October 15th deadline, and I couldn't put this off any longer. Will shoot something else when the update is in sight.

This is a short one. I was asked by -friend and collegue- Site Steendam to assist on a RED Epic shoot. How could I possibly say no to that. So I went along, and took my Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) with me, and shot some footage...
Zutphen is one of the oldest cities of The Netherlands. It has been continuously inhabited for over 1700 years, ever since the first Germanic settlements back in 300 AD. I hope I've captured at least a little bit of its history in these images of my hometown.
My specific specimen is branded 'Walimex Pro', but it is a lens of the Samyang family which are being sold under several different brandnames (i.e. Rokinon, Vivatar, Walimex Pro, Bower).
